Its essentially a Stage 2 Pokemon that you cant Rare Candy into play, so you probably wont be set up until turn 4 or 5, whereas the most competitive decks in the format are usually set up on turn 1 or 2

They work like Normal Spells, and usually require tributes from the field to summon the specified monster from the hand

Avoid using too many Stage 1 or 2 Pokmon in your deck because evolving and playing them can slow down your game and leave you vulnerable to attacks

It is significantly less useful as a one drop and far fiddlier to flip into a threat
