The dress does up with a metal zipper at the back and ten covered buttons with loops along the top back

The selvedge is printed with “A Colortested Fabric Reg Appl'd For US Pat Off Best Available Vat Dyes Sanitized”

but basically they are the same type of hat

There is a pinhead hole at the upper left back (see close-up photo) but unseen in the photo there are a few frays around the pinhead hole

There are bars at the back to which one would sew the fabric of the belt, as is the case with the present belt to which the buckle is attached.
