Two of the members were twins and this provided the idea of the proportions of an isosceles of a triangle. Many of the compositional techniques, structure , texture and rhythmic content reflective this idea. Alan Davis was born in Birmingham in 1945. He studied at the Royal College of Music, Keble College Oxford, and undertook
