This doesnt double as a finisher itself the way that Finale of Devastation does, except that casting this for x=8 and finding Craterhoof Behemoth is usually close enough
One side has a 4/4 that gives out double strike like candy on Halloween, but Sword of the Realms on the back side is a strong equipment itself
You may not be able to literally select which cards are going to the graveyard with each discard spell, but by paying attention to what cards your opponent keeps and what they give up, you can try and time your punches to cut off their decisions and paralyze even the most powerful Constructed decks
The addition of vigilance makes it that much stronger, but can block an additional creature each combat is such a unique effect, and in the format where most people claim to slot cards for redundancy, or still wrongfully cling to the 8x8 theory , youd expect High Ground to show up more
