Inspired by Japanese style and the myth of Byakko the white tiger

this woodland toadstool brooch is completely laser cut from acrylic sheet right down to the spots on the caps

I've also developed the technique further through experimenting which involves adding a thin layer of clear acrylic on top

Just be careful not to knock plated chains against really hard surfaces as the plate may chip of slightly
