Cask No. 78.74 Peated citrus zing and a spicyPinewood saps, new leather strops, treacle tart and some lovely natural tar extracts were all noted up front. We also detected hessian, herbal ointments and youthful brandy notes. A little water evolved the nose towards sawn rosewood, lemon rinds, lightly sooty and mineralic notes, then toasted almonds and impressions of hand cream.
