Black and white etching of large proportions; signed in pencil by the artist. Dated 1922. Herbert Dicksee specialised in oil paintings of dogs, particularly the deerhound. This exquisite etching of a deerhound and terrier is housed in a later substantial gilded frame. There is some rippling to the etching within the frame but the work itself remains unharmed.
