Super grain on the elm seat and even elm stretchers, with a deep rich patina throughout with some of the original light brown paint present. Worn in all the right places. A small old repair to one corner of one seat, but its been well done with dowelling (not nail or screw), so strong and no movement. Sturdy and solid, ready to use. Price is for the pair. Floor to top
