Lorcana (lore + arcana) is a magical realm where players take on the role of Illumineers and use magical ink to summon "Glimmers" (copies) of Disney characters from various stories, some familiar and some with bizarre twists, to help them collect lore (victory points)

While triggering strange permanents is a nice bonusand if you are building around Naban, Dean of Iteration, it's certainly worth considering these cards (and cards like them) for utility slots in your deckif there's one thing we've learned from Panharmonicon, it's that most of the time, the right (and easiest) way to build around a card like Naban, Dean of Iteration is to play a ton of creatures with enters-the-battlefield triggers
If you've heard of the player types profile that Wizards has used over the last decade or so, these decks are mainly for Timmy/Tammy and Johnny/Jenny players
Both colours give you Evasive characters like Pongo Ol Rascal and Peter Pan Never Landing which can only be Challenged by other Evasive characters which many Starter Decks lack
Sacrificing Octo Opus has no effect on Contortionist
