I dont like this quite as much as Aven Mindcensor because it isnt quite as devastating when it works sure, your opponent doesnt get their creature trigger, but they still get the creature, and most of the enters-the-battlefield triggers youre looking to stop (in Modern, anyway) are infinite combos that they can just try again once they find a removal spell for your one-toughness creature
Graveyard hate is nowhere as prominent in EDH as it should be, and that gives this deck a massive advantage when playing from behind
But if the table doesnt have the right answer ready, protecting your entire board while attacking with an 8/8 Angel usually closes the game quickly
It gets to bring back an equipment when it enters the battlefield too, meaning if one of your copies of Hammer gets destroyed via Artifact hate from the opponent, its easy to get it back
