This card is a staple whenever it's allowed in a format where there's at least one good Water-type deck
Numerous effects in this deck come upon entering the battlefield, so outside of countermagic, you ensure you get good value from your creatures
Some look fierce and towering, others feel more mysterious or celestial, and a few even land on the cute side
We also brought penny sleeves (think sleeves made of transparent plastic), to protect the cards, because nobody likes to find out that their precious cards got damaged when staging in a pocket or backpack sleeve
If Magebane Lizard enters the battlefield after a player has already cast a noncreature spell in the same turn, that spell will be counted by Magebane Lizard's triggered ability if that player casts another noncreature spell that turn
If you've not drafted an ideal pairing, the Prismatic Piper can be used to smooth things out and make the deck you were aiming for work
