There arent a lot of X-cost Instant and Sorceries available in this deck, but the first ability is much better than some of the weaker cards in the original list for this deck
The life gain mode isnt the greatest, but sometimes youre going to need it
Sylvan Library however has a built in mechanism whereby you can use it for card advantage as well as card quality or you can let it cost you a card and just use it for quality
