This Flora Jacket is made from a lightweight quilt that is hand pieced and quilted in a Rocky Road to Kansas pattern - this dates back to the late 19th century
This top features an unfinished quilt TOP that was hand-pieced with lots of beautiful calico and shirting fabrics (it does not have batting or backing) in a classic 'Duck and Ducklings’ pattern
with the pockets and outer edge bound in a jewel-toned blue dot fabric that highlights and bring richness to the original quilt's color palette
