HL Leonard Model 38L Bamboo Rod 7' 2/2 #2/3 9' The rod is in excellent-For sale here is a H. L. Leonard Model 38L bamboo rod. 7 feet with two sections and two tips. Serial # 1081, made around 1970. Weight is 2 5 8 oz. with a softer action for a DT2 or WF3 line. Perfect for fishing little spring runs and small streams where delicate presentation is essential. The size 10 ferrule makes this is a scarce light line 7ft. post fire model as most were made size with a 11 (or larger) ferrules in the model 38 and heavier 38H. Red
