Im curious to see how the new battles play out over time, and Im especially curious to see what the future of battles in Magic is, but for now I dont see these cards as especially compelling for traditional Cube environments
This is an exciting card for sure, and it gives players loads of possibilities for building different Commander decks
WUBRG decks are always a little tricky to judge if they're not blatantly powerful right out of the box, and because the theming of this deck is so cool, it feels disruptive to try and make upgrades to it, so it's almost a case of being a precon that you shouldn't upgrade, but yet it desperately needs it
This shift has created a significant power vacuum, with format-defining staples like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Monastery Swiftspear, and efficient one-mana removal spells like Cut Down now gone
I'm actually kind of partial to this one, from Throne of Eldraine : This card sees relatively little play in Standard, somewhat outshone by Glass Casket
