Tapping to dump out a +1/+1 counter on each artifact creature or Vehicle you control could be a lot of counters, and then being able to pay 2 to remove 2 counters to draw a card is also potentially really a lot
Jayemdae Tome saw some play in those days, so Greed was probably better than people gave it credit for in those days, but deck design was nowhere near the level its today
I say this because its the last set that will follow the old Lorcana formula, with the standard rung of rarities, and the final set to be included in the original game before rotation removes the first four sets from play
And something as simple as Vexing Bauble may be the biggest card in the set
