Profane Tutor does cost the exact same mana and requires you to wait two turns, but unlike some other suspend cards like Resurgent Belief, I doubt it will draw much heat for suspending it, nor is there much your opponents can do to deny you the tutor (barring Opposition Agent or killing you, of course)
Earthshaker Giant I rate this is a bit better than End-Raze Forerunners but not much, one spot better, since it's cheaper for a smaller 6/6 with trample too, but gives your team trample and an additional +1 size
The card also plays nicely with various Fetch Lands , which has resulted in the card digging its way into Standard, Modern, and Commander since Avatar: The Last Airbenders release last year
