They feel pretty nice, but I still think the Mats shuffle a bit better

All three printings contain the same set of cards, with a few notable exceptions ( Alpha is missing Circle of Protection: Black and Volcanic Island due to printing errors)

But, if you want to really get silly, my favorite card to play with the supersized succulent is going to be Sovereign Okinec Ahau

The tournament wasnt large, but it was full of stock decks from what I saw: Mono-Red, Green Black, Green White, a couple Teferi, a Mono-Blue player, etc
