Elm scratches and dingsA pretty mahogany astral glazed display cabinet or bookcase, with an attractive original escutcheon, lock and key, 2 3 shelves, sitting on (possibly earlier) bracket feet, good quality wood showing lovely grain and colour, from Brudenell House, Quainton, Bucks (see provenance below). A couple of surface splits to the top (which you can only see from certain angles) and by two of the hinges on one side (see photos), but otherwise in very good condition
