Union monsters no longer have the ability to destroy themselves in place of the monster they're equipped to, nor can they be unequipped and re-Summoned

While it is probably good enough in a deck that is built on the theme of +1/+1 counters, outside of this very specific archetype, adding a single +1/+1 counter to a creature just isn't enough value (even at instant speed) to make me add another tapped land to my deck, especially considering that green already has five MDFCs that I really want to be playing
Later printings corrected it to Fire, but the first instance of the word "energy" remained lowercase in all printings
The creature type has been around since the early days of the game, and is one of the more popular choices for a Commander deck that's built around a specific creature type
Theyre a great throwback to the original black and white era cards, much like Black Bolt and White Flares holographic patterns, and for those like myself old enough to be collecting back then, pulling one is an exciting prospect
