We talked through a number of ideas, but one in particular captured our fancy
There are also quite a few archetypes where being able to cast the creature side to pressure an immobilized opponent is a crucial feature in favor of Simian Spirit Guide and who among us cannot smile at that thought
I dont think this is really going to fly but combining this with Oblivion Ring, Leonin Relic-Warder, and related effects leads to a four card combo that will mill the opponent out on the spot using only cards that have decent utility all by themselves (other than the Altar, of course)
For creature matchups, we have a motley crew of blue cards, with So Tiny being our Sword to Plowshares, Warrant // Warden often permanently answering a creature since we can put it on top of our opponent's deck and then mill it away, Run Away Together offering some fun tricks where we can bounce our opponent's best thing and one of our enters-the-battlefield mill creatures, and Flood of Tears being our (very bad) Wrath of God
Cards like Defiant Strike, Sheltering Light, and Gods Willing fit perfectly in a deck looking to win with cheap, aggressive creatures
My counter-argument is that it takes quite a bit of mana to do so and there arent that many scenarios in which Deadeye Navigator is completely safe
