Description

remnants of skiers passing through which leads the eye into the tunnel

Standing on the rocks along Georgian Bay

This painting comes from a memory of a particularly windy cool afternoon as the sun was setting

It is these seemingly simple and yet peaceful moments that inspire me to paint outdoors

It comes from my own experience of traveling through Georgian Bay

Kingston - "Market Square" Acrylic on Stretched Canvas:22x28 with 2-inch gallery-depth sides remnants of skiers passing throughThe square dates back to 1784, when Kingston was first laid out as a town, making it one of the oldest continuously operating public markets in Canada. Today it's official name is Springer Market Square. The name was changed in 2008, when the Springer family, a well known family, donated $1 million towards a major redevelopment project in downtown Kingston.
