They dont have reach so they cant block fliers, most of them dont have power so they dont block tokens well, and all of them are small enough that theyll die to almost any combat trick if they block almost any creature, or theyre not big enough to live through blocking most of the larger creatures in the format
The simple answer is: It depends
If a creature enters the battlefield as a copy of a face-down creature (or if a token is created that's a copy of one), that copy has the same characteristics as the face-down creature (in this case, it's a 3/3 creature with the two abilities and no other characteristics), even though the copy is face up
But what it does bring to the table it does a great job with, and the more players that you are facing off against, the more likely you are to have fearsome threats to silence
