Lot 005 - Antique English Victorian Mourning Brooch, "In Memory of My Dear Son" With Tombstone, Cross, and Weeping Willow Motif, 1-1/2" L x 1-1/8" W 3971 with many appearing unusedAntique English Victorian mourning brooch with a black enamel face decorated in gold with a central tombstone inscribed "My Dear Son," topped by a cross and flanked by weeping willow branches. The border reads "In Memory Of" and the brooch is framed by a scrolled gold tone surround. The reverse has a C clasp pin mechanism and a stamped British registered design number. The enamel face shows scattered surface loss and wear to the gold decoration. The
