This was generally outclassed by the common Otter-Penguin in Last Airbender Limited, which isn't a great sign for a card at this rarity
It is to the point that Path to Exile has pretty much been sent into early retirement from the suite of removal spells, as opponents cannot afford to be giving away an extra land to such a low curve deck
Ooze also can act as your late game nail in the coffin card against aggro strategies, since with more mana at your disposal it turns into Pelakka Wurm pretty quickly
