How MTG's Companions Broke The Game As for companions, these are cards that players can keep outside of their decks and play when they have enough mana to do so, only after they spend an extra three mana of any color
Not every deck needs a lot of recursion, but having one or two cards can be worth their weight in gold especially in the lategame when the best "draw" in your deck is sitting in your yard
You may also put a name sticker, an art sticker, and/or an ability sticker on it
In my opinion, most decks will perform better if they stick to 60 cards, because card draw becomes more reliable that way
While three mana is a lot for counter magic, having a solid NO can make a difference
Both versions of Koma are great, and I'm kind of surprised this isn't a mythic
