My favorite of the pair is the Amethyst and Steel, which centers on Jafar, Newly Crowned and his ability to bring back characters with the Illusion keyword from the banished (dead) pile to your hand

Being able to play out of our graveyard like a second hand means we can expect access to most of the spells in our deck at any given moment, and at that point we will have more direct and reliable ways to win the game than casting a bunch of filler creatures

Urzas Cave is again less relevant in EDH than in Modern, where the land subtype is much more relevant
