Struck for King Ferdinand VII while part of the Spanish Colonial Empire. Minted at the Lima Mint (mint mark LIMAE monogram, Assayer JP). Obverse with the imagined bust of Ferdinand VII. Certified by NGC to AU 50. Well struck, colorfully toned, significant luster, very pleasing in hand. Vintage NGC holder, strong upgrade candidate. Type of coinage that circulated in the USA as a silver dollar coin.
