It has a arched plate, suitable for players who like to hold their violin towards the left, in comparison to the Tekka style which lets the player place their chin further towards the middle. It is a large chinrest with a medium depth cup that mounts over the tailpiece. The lip is square ish and nicely rounded. It is also slightly rounded as it flows off on the treble side.
