The new supporters and items featured in the Scarlet & Violet are focused around either providing card draw - such as Professors Research and Nemona - or finding specific types of cards, like Jacq and Arven
For the P effect, normal P summoning was sufficient under the previous rule, but due to the new rule, the expansion from the EX Deck was restricted, so the effect of collecting it in the hand became a fairly important situation
Overall, there's a lot to like about Twilight Masquerade, including an exciting return to no-holds-barred battles
