This is a fabulous vintage black velvet pillbox hat made by renowned milliner Lilly Dache (Lilly Daché)

She is in very good condition except for a dirt smudge under the stocking on one of her legs (see last close-up photo) - I havent really tried to remove this

The underside is marked underglaze with a single line crossed through double lines in blue underglaze, the mark of the Sitzendorfer Porzellanfabrik Gebrder Voigt factory. The factory was first located in Sitzendorf, but soon relocated to Volkstedt, Thuringia, Germany. This mark was used between 1884 and 1902. The factory during this period was
