I often took tuned to be equivalent to optimized, but those can be two totally different things
This helps ensure that the card will never be completely dead regardless of the board state or match-up
cEDH cards are designed to maximize power while minimizing cost, which helps players to interact during early turns, to disrupt opponents, and to execute game-winning strategies as fast as possible in a multiplayer setting
I also just totally underrated casting a spell from your graveyard and still having a planeswalker around that threatens to do it again
For example, Everlasting Torment can make Circle of Protection: Black sit there uselessly in play, while Spirit of the Labyrinth effectively blanks a number of "draw a lot of cards" decks
Ancient Copper Dragon and Ancient Silver Dragon are the runaway winners, but the black dragon slots nicely into self mill or haste-based decks, and the white one is still more than playable in tokens based build though Id want to be in GW to help power it out
