I know you design these cards with that in mind, so do you see it as a miss when one performs super well in 1v1 Constructed, or is it just a natural part of how those formats evolve now

Its always nice to see it show up in a Masters set or a flashback set, but you dont see it in Constructed formats as much anymore as there are just better options

It will be at least another year before that happens though

The Shadow Lord Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor was a pretty strong mythic in The Brothers War, and it should play out fairly similar here

For example, the commander, Isperia, Supreme Judge, may allow you to draw lots of cards if an opponent goes full send at you in combat, but there aren't a lot of ways in the deck to prevent the damage to give yourself time to play those cards
