This is one of the finest of its type that we have had in the studio. Dating from the late 19th early 20th century, China, we think this was probably made for export. The detailing in the flowers, foliage and grasses is superb, and has been worked by a professional embroiderer. Worked in fine coloured silk threads against a black silk satin ground which really makes the embroidery glow. This
